JOB ROLE DESCRIPTION :

Accurate Coding:

Assigned accurate medical codes to diagnoses, procedures, and treatments using ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems, ensuring compliance with coding guidelines and regulations.
Reviewed and analyzed medical records and documentation to ensure precise coding and billing.

Regulatory Compliance:

Ensured all coding activities adhered to federal, state, and payer-specific regulations and guidelines, reducing the risk of audits and claim denials.
Stayed current with changes in coding standards, healthcare regulations, and payer requirements through continuous education and training.

Revenue Cycle Management:

Contributed to the efficiency of the revenue cycle by ensuring timely and accurate submission of coded claims to insurance companies and other payers.
Collaborated with billing and reimbursement teams to resolve coding-related claim denials and rejections.

Quality Assurance:

Conducted regular audits of coded data to ensure accuracy and compliance with established standards, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
Provided feedback and training to clinical staff to improve documentation practices and coding accuracy.

Data Management and Reporting:
