Job Description :
- Execute experiments for method development, validations, and qualifications to support new product development and sustaining product projects, under supervision.
- Collaborate with senior team members in sample preparation for analysis and operation of advanced analytical instruments.
- Provide support in calibration and maintenance of laboratory equipment.
- Apply theory, principles, and technical learnings to execute projects, develop, and improve methods and products.
- Innovate and propose solutions to research problems.
- Recommend new analytical techniques to enhance lab capability and productivity.
- Document laboratory work performed per Baxter’s Good Documentation Practice (GDP).
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory guidelines, and Baxter’s Quality Manual, SOPs, and Environmental Health, Safety & Sustainability (EHS&S) guidelines.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Understanding of chromatographic techniques (e.g., HPLC, UPLC, GC, IC) with various detection techniques.
- Good understanding of complex sample matrices, applicable separation methodologies, and influence of sample matrix on analytical methodology.
- Strong theoretical knowledge in spectrometric techniques like mass spectrometry, UV-Vis, FTIR.
- Hands-on experience with analytical tools/instruments (e.g., balances, pH meter, centrifuge, sonicator).
- Proficient in basic wet chemistry techniques such as weighing, serial dilution, pipetting, pH measurement.
- Knowledge of formulation concepts of large volume parenteral, solid-liquid interfacial behavior of PVC, and generation of leachables.
- High learning agility, adaptability, innovative mindset, good presentation skills, and collaboration.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to collect, assess, organize, and clearly communicate information.
- Committed to organizational priorities and timely project deliverables.
